WE’RE HIRING
We’re looking for an excellent, part-time Personal Assistant to join our family and support us as we step into the next level of our careers, parenthood and the lives we most want to live. If you are a child-friendly, highly organized administrative professional with experience supporting executives, read on to learn more about this exciting opportunity.
COMPANY AND LIFE OVERVIEW
Jessica Serran is an artist, mother and founder of the BECOMING - an online educational institute for artists. We help artists (get their shit together so they can) create the kind of world they want to live in. Founded in 2015, we support artists around the globe.
Libor Pospisil is a multi-passionate being who is helping to revolutionize education. When not working at Reditel Nazivo he does freelance market research, team building and facilitates experiential learning for corporations and the Czech Skaut community.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a part-time role, working alongside Jessica and Libor. For this role, you’ll need to live in or near our home base in Prague, CZ and be willing to work both remotely and within our home and family of three. The role starts at 12 hours/week and will likely increase as our careers and personal needs grow. Typical hours are throughout the day, 9 am - 5 pm; on occasion, we’ll need you to work additional hours on evenings and weekends during a launch or other events throughout the year.
MISSION
The mission of our Assistant is to support Jessica and Libor as parents & professionals by managing details that keep us 5 steps ahead for our family, ensuring that our home life is well-managed and clearing the path for us to make the greatest contribution in our careers while having the time to show up fully (and calmly) as parents of a young child. Our Assistant will be a key asset by anticipating needs and creating an even more peaceful, well-organized home and virtual spaces for us to operate within.
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE/BE THE FOLLOWING:
Super organized. (You love creating systems and following them.)
Able to anticipate needs. (You delight in imagining what will be needed and seeing things I may not.)
Happy to spend time around children. (You don’t mind the occasional request to hang out with a baby or entertain a toddler during an unexpected meeting.)
Resourceful. (Google is your friend. You love finding solutions to problems.)
Happy to get dirty or all dressed up. (No job is off-limits or too fancy for you. You’re willing to do what it takes.)
Passionate about making life run smoothly for others (and invested in creating a long-term relationship with your clients).
Ruthlessly devoted to your client’s best interests.
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE ALIGNED WITH OUR CORE VALUES:
WE TELL IT LIKE IT IS - We believe in being transparent. And human. We take full responsibility for our own experiences. We know that life is messy, but not naming “what is true” creates a crazy-making mess for everyone.
WE CREATE SPACES that people want to be in. How our home looks and feels matters. We care about the conversations we have, the energy we bring and the experiences we create.
WE DO HARD THINGS - Like running 100k in a day (Libor), going to couple’s therapy, and thriving as a successful, well-paid artist. We believe that each of us has genius and magic and is committed to living it.

THE OFFICIAL BIO
Jessica Serran is an International Artist and the Leader of the Becoming Artist Movement. As a Visual Artist she uses drawing and painting to touch the forgotten and hidden parts of Self. When not making her own art she helps other Visual Artists who struggle with discovering their Calling to become Leaders of an International Creative Movement through the Power of Community.
Her ability to see the genius in others and give them permission to step into it, combined with a seamless blend of intuition and logic are the force that is ushering more authentic, full-bodied creativity into the world. Lit up by marketing as much as art making, her coaching programs are changing the limiting beliefs and starving artist paradigms that hold so many artists back.
Born in Ontario, Canada, she holds an MA in Transformative Art from John F Kennedy University in Berkeley, CA and a BFA in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. Recently named a Leader of the New Cool in Prague, she has exhibited and published her work in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and across North America; been featured in Art 21, The Prague Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, Detroit MetroTimes, Holistic Fashionista Magazine and was a 2014 Creative Mornings guest speaker on the topic of Color.
